The Twine of Two: Misconceptions

"God made marriage, but he's not in it with you..."
Something I knew growing up but still see in peoples eyes of first time marriages. People believe that it is going to be this divine, overwhelming feeling of heaven. They do not see that it is only a promise that they are offering to each other and God is only there to hear your promise as he did countless times when you pray for him to take you out of a situation promising him that you will change; in which many times, we do not.
Marriage is not a spiritual rising, it is a celebration of the unity of two people. Know that you will not be lifted into the sky, know that you will not see God or is Angels, Know that the moment leading up to "I do" is an experience of promising yourself to someone else is lead up like everything in life in which we hold expectations. When the experience is over, we are diminished back to our old self; the person we were leading to the "I do."

No Control
We live only because of the things our mind does without us knowing. To live is the minds first instinct and although can lose care for himself, the mind do his best to save itself. We live a controlled life in which the master is our mind. We have almost no choice as what we think we want has already been decided by our mind, it just allow us to think we are making the decisions.
